Monday Musings: Puck Hooligans

The Puck Hogs were on our bye week last week, and so we didn’t have a league game to play. But, being on the bye didn’t stop us from going to the rink anyway.  A bunch of us decided to keep the Friday night hockey thing going and took part in the Friday night drop-in.

A few of us showed up a few hours early to watch the other teams play.  We sat in on the Flying Wizards vs. Ice Dawgs game and had a few friends from other teams join us.  While for the most part we keep it pretty clean, we’re pretty loud in the stands and sometimes I worry that we’ll cross the line of obnoxiousnessity.  We haven’t been arrested yet, so, so far so good.  

As Captain Phantiak said, it’s almost more fun watching than playing.  She might be right.  But, having spent all this money on hockey equipment, we do kind of have to play.
